  1. I bet if you took a tally, President Obama has spoke with President Medvedev more than any other foreign leader.

  2. If you ask me, he’d rather speak to the US arch-enemy (Russia), than to his fellow Americans, the Republican Party Leadership.

    🙂

  3. The most powerful man in the world, can still express a genuine. smile. How blessed we are, how safe we feel.

  4. This man has restored my respect for the American People again. finally they made someone president again that looks and acts like I feel a person in this position should.

  5. I have been a republican (center right) for more than 39 years and this is the first democratic president that I have ever voted for. As a black man, over the years I have had to stand up to defend the views of my politics as it’s widely considered that the Republican Party is a racist party. Obviously, that is a shallow view and arguably a racist one as well. However it’s been highly propagated amongst the black communities for decades. The point I like to make to any republican at large is…you may not agree with all of this president’s politics (and I certainly don’t) but he is our president and deserves the respect that this elected office has received (at least in my lifetime)…until this presidency.
As a long standing republican that happens to be black…our party must aggressively denounce any display of racism, hidden racism and political stupidity…it is a total unproductive strategy. We must stick to our politics and be prepared to work with this president and be open to compromise. After all compromise is not a sign of weakness rather as sign of strength and intellect. Typically, people with professional backgrounds have learned this to be a virtue.
