I am a grandmother of 5 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. My 3 granddaghters that live in Frisco Tx are very quiet and shy but when they play sports, music and art they really open up. They are dueing great in their classes, My grandchildren in ohio that stugggle with asthma, family of 6 due better when they are involve with sports and music but its a little harder. Both family due without just so they can live in an area with a good school system. The ohio family live in a old house with mold and water damage so they can stay in a good school system. My husband and I try to help but Jimmy is retire and we were in a car accident in October and I have been out of work since then and not able to pick up extra hours to help. I guess my point is that we need better schools and safer schools for everyone with sports, music and arts that help children work together and help them be themselves. We need better social serves that really protect the children not loophold the people know how to get around the system. I wish you could see how well my granddaughters in Frisco, Tx are dueing in school due to a safe and well balance sysstem. We like to see more focus on our children and schools. Please have better people in the social service system that really protect the children. Please respond and advise on how we could help our fmily. Our grnadchildren are ok because of us. The children that need help are the ones that due not have the family to help them. I just want to stress the importance of sports , music and arts in the schools and safety.
I am happy to say that in the beginning of the presidents campaign, I wasn’t sure I like Michele. Shortly there after I did see her for the beautiful person she is. I am a vegetgarian and i think she is leading the country in the right direction away from the slaughter of animals and towards a plant based diet. Keep it up my first lady.

I thank God the giving the President and First Lady wisdom, character, wisdom, favor and a heart for the human condition. May God continue to grant them favor.
The first lady is one that is extraordinary in her ordinariness — willing at all times to mingle and empathize with the rank and file and more than hold her own among the world’s noble and privileged few.
Gracious, generous, charming, classic and loving. America is blessed to have Michelle Obama as our First Lady, she makes us all proud.

I am so grateful for ARRA whcih has provided me with both COBRA insurance at a reduced rate and a 1/2 time job for the school year as a Speech Language Pathologist.
I was terminated from a job where the job description changed and how fortunate for me to have insurance for 15 months and a job that I can live on for the year.
I’m grateful for the beautiful examples of “A Family” from our First Family.
Far too often African American Families are erroneously portrayed as fractured, non-functional, ill-mannered people. The truth is that even without an Ivy-league education, African Americans built the most powerful nation with their bare hands.
While it is that we were ONCE the GNP/GDP, today, can measure the GDP/GNP with tools that were created by African Americans who often-times could not Read nor Write.
While many have survived abject poverty, gross-marginalization, and suffer from the after-effects of the usury likened to some of our most unfortunate circumstances as third-world countries experience, still. Even Today. (Which shouldn’t exist at all, but does), yet we still continue to rise beyond the verbally quiet bitterness of tightly pinched lips that would rather curse us than celebrate us. But as time moves forward, we will watch as more and more people will come to realize that if ONE population of people isn’t important, then NONE of us are.
Come on AMERICA! Celebrate the Greatness that we can now MEASURE in the eyes and work being done by our First Family and the Communities that support them.
The whole world is watching. They are demonstrating that EVERYONE matters. Everyone.
For this, I am Grateful.
May God continue to Bless our First Family and Our Nation as we GROW into an even more POWERFUL, STRONG, UNDIVIDED and GENUINELY caring America.
