  1. Mr. President-
This white, Mid-western, middle class, Catholic, suburban, 65 year old math teacher is so very proud to call you” Mr. President”. You and Michelle and your children are examples of the very best in America. Keep plugging away, Mr. President, you have a vast number of Americans like (and unlike!) me who love and trust you. We count on your intelligence and integrity. We are inspired by your work ethic and forward thinking. God bless you and your family in the New Year. God bless us, everyone.

  2. Thank You so very much for your patience with the house, senate and the news media. You took on a mess from the previous (?). I worked for you and I will be there to support you at election. I am 71 and worried about my S.S. and the National Debt. I don’t like China owning us. Thank you for the family image you are putting forward. I really respect you for your openness and ability to change your views when and if its necessary to move forward on a bill and etc. Call it as it is. Don’t put your self in harms way. We need you and your family. Merry Christmas to you and your Family…Robert

  3. For the talking heads and the Right Wing that had declared Obama’s Presidency over, this comes as an embarrassment to them. The man has achieved 85% of the goals het set out for his four year presidency in only two years!

I loved this one-two punch that felt like Ali’s thriller in Manila. The Republixcans could not tell whether it was Barry or Harry who hjit them–but they were down and out for the counting:

    Charles Krauthammer:
The great liberal ascendancy of 2008, destined to last 40 years (predicted James Carville), lasted less than two. Yet, the great Republican ascendancy of 2010 lasted less than two months. Republicans will enter the 112th Congress with larger numbers but no longer with the wind – the overwhelming Nov. 2 repudiation of Obama’s social-democratic agenda – at their backs.

“Harry Reid has eaten our lunch,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, lamenting his side’s “capitulation” in the lame-duck session. Yes, but it was less Harry than Barry. Obama came back with a vengeance. His string of lame-duck successes is a singular political achievement. Because of it, the epic battles of the 112th Congress begin on what would have seemed impossible just one month ago – a level playing field.

Apparently much of the political opposition to DADT repeal is to an Obama win of any kind. The term “asshole” doesn’t even begin to describe those people.

Keep up the great work Mr. Obama. You are a winner.

  4. Thank you Mr President for being the great leader you are. I believe in you and support you. You have done a wonderful job with what you had to work though. I pray God blesses and protect you, your family and our country.

  5. Dear Mr.President, I pray for your continued strength and guidance each day and have to believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your faith strong and rely on the many strong people who surround you for the advice you need in these demanding days. Faithfully, Bart Frankena

  6. Thank you Mr president , I really believe you are the man of the century, you have shown us that you stand behind your word at least 80 % though you have gone Grey, after all you were handed a country in the brink of downfall.you are a great leader. I pray for your continued strength, May God bless you and your family

  7. Mr. President, I’m pleased that a young Josh Bartlett is at the helm. You have the array of qualities that will put us on the road to recovery.

  8. Dear Mr. President,

These two retired, white, middle-class voters believed you were right for the job in 2008, and we know you’re right for the job in 2012. We worked to see you elected in 2008, and we will work again to see you re-elected in 2012. Thanks for all you do for our country, and being the man that you are.

  9. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY
MR. PRESIDENT. HOW VERY PROUD OF YOU
DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING WOULD HAVE BEEN.

  10. Thank you so much Mr. President for being there for all of us. Thank you so much for trying to bring unity to all. I pray that GOD will continue to bless you and give you the strength to carry on. I’m so proud to call you my president. Peace!

  11. Dear Mr. President, I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished in spite of the big mess you had to step in on 1/20/08. How quickly some people forget who made that mess and placed our government and country in the toilet. We must continue to stand by you, the man we selected to run this country and the reason we chose you. There is no 1,2,3 remedy for the repair; and I believe the Republicans just don’t want your legacy as President to have any positive effects left by it. But they’ll try to do the same thing under one of their own. Shame on it all they can’t see the future because they’re heads are on backwards. Peace and Love to you and yours.

  12. Thanks for all you do and you are so humble! So nice to see a change in the white house and a good one at that. Keep looking up and taking care of that beautiful family. GOD Bless!!

  13. Mr.President I am so proud of the job you are doing. Thank you from myself and my family for continuing to hang in there no matter what they throw at you. So glad you have Michelle and the girls there to keep you grounded. Saw you on Oprah and really enjoyed it like always when I see you. Thank you also for cleaning up Mr.Bush’s mess. We are feeling it too like most Americans but I know it will get better soon. Hopefully the gas will go down some before the holiday. Also glad you stopped smoking. So has my husband and I am so proud of him. He admires you so much. Continue what you do. We will continue to pray for you and yours. Peace and Blessings

  14. Mr. President: I am so proud of YOU and what you have managed to do in less then two years.
Health care, Wall Street and banking corrections added Unemployment Insurance. I am a victim of 9/11. Thank you. I loss friends and coworkers. I work on your election in the past. My aim is to see you still in The White House. My prays are with you and for you and your family.

  15. Hello President Obama,
I am so proud of you and the difficult tasks you have accomplished in such little time. You are so brainy. I admire your dignity, integrity and ebullience. You are the best president in American History. Keep up the good work. My church family prays constantly for you, Michelle and the girls.
    God Bless,
    Sheila

  16. Mr. President;

This comes from an 84 year old member of your fan club. I am as disappointed in the Congress as I am impressed with all that you have been able to accomplish, in spite of them, from that deep hole in which your predecessor left this country. No matter who that other party puts up in 2012, YOU will have my vote. Stand for what you believe in.

  17. I have never been proud of a President before. I realize now what it means to see the President as a leader and believe that he can change the future for all of us– not just the white, Christian, men who have had a stranglehold on this country for 200 years–with my black, female self in that headlock!

  18. Mr.President, Thank you so much for your leadship. Yes, you did. God Bless you and God Bless America. Always praying for the 1st family.

    sincerely,
    Alice Terrell

  19. Mr President, you are our Joshua in these very troubled times. God will lead you around and away from the ditches the wicked ones are digging watch who will be in the ditch, their consciousness already resides there. Sad for America.
