We’re so going to pass 450,000

OFA counter went totally crazy following the press conference. :)

  1. I get paid tomorrow. Another pot of money and another entry in the “Dinner with Barack (and Joe!)” contest.

  2. I gave today before the press conference. There’s just something about today I think. Also gave to the appeal Al Franken made online today. He should write all their requests for funding, IMHO. What he wrote just made me open my wallet.

  3. Eh, You just want to sit next to Jill Biden or Michelle. But if you don’t win, I do really hope that another one of us on this blog does.

  4. OFA ROCKS; and so does our POTUS! LMAO The look on PBO’s face…

Hubby and I are going to donate and celebrate tonight; We got our federal income tax refund. Yooo hooo!

  5. So when I checked, the tally was at 429,875. I waited a couple of minutes, refreshed, and it was up to 429,932. Almost 60 in two minutes!

  6. It’s not your typing, I’m convinced it is this new comment box, it is out to get us!

  7. My President is such an inspiration. I believe there is no goal so lofty that he cannot reach it!

  8. Really? I have no problems with it. Is it the browser you’re using? I’m on Safari.

  9. Say it, again! ;) lol

    YES.WE.CAN…DO.(Much)More, Together!
YES.WE.CAN…Move America Forward & Win The Future!
    YES.WE.CAN, Again Make History…Obama/Biden 2012!
    I’M IN…FIRED UP & GOIN’! ;)

  10. I’m assuming it counts a donor name just once. In other words, if you contribute today and then tomorrow, for example, it would only count you once. ?

  11. Only because I know they wouldn’t be window dressing and would be heavily involved in the conversation. Oh, and they’re hot.

  12. From what I gather, there are two goals: 450,000 donors, and 575,000 donations. You get counted only once for the donors list; every donation you make goes to the donation numbers.

  13. I’m on Internet Explorer and it is impossible to read as you are typing. I have to pretend to copy/paste to highlight it as white font on black background to read and edit it before I hit post comment.

  14. It’s so good to be a part (however faintly visible) of this community, What’s clear is that we encourage and support each other, that we hold up the possibility of progress and greater human connection, and that we’ve got PBO’s back. Yes we can — keep doing this together.

  15. It’s white on grey in Safari. Haven’t tried explorer, my connection is really slow on there for some reason.

  16. “OFA counter went totally crazy following the press conference.”
    ————————————————————

This is what would happen when he gave a speech during the 2008 campaign — his web site would crash from so many people trying to get on.

  17. No problem.

I sent an e-mail to my writing instructor and it had 3 typos. 3!! What if that was my only chance to impress? I’m doomed.

  18. I like the focus on people not money. It’s on the amount of donors not the money raised. This is obviously done to counter the msm meme that Obama is reaching out to the big money interests he often runs against. To have near 500,000 so engaged 18 months out when the Dem is the incumbent is impressive.

  19. what’s left of the PL continues to insist that obama never worked hard for LGBT issues.

    They are a dangerous bunch.

At least, Obama supporters are making their voices heard and making them look really stupid. Cornell west has dissappeared since he made that racist remark in late may.

Pushback was huge. I have pushed back against Dan Choi. We all have pushed back against rachel maddow. She is on the defensive. We are standing strong and together.

Grijalva actually praised the adminsitration for pushing forward for environmentalists.
He actually did not bash the president. He was in fact very proud of Salazar

  20. I had that same problem on Explorer….my kids told me I was “stupid”( in so many words, they would never call their Mama stupid) that I should use Google Chrome…guess what? Problem solved. Works like a champ…I can see what I type now!

  21. i switched to Google Chrome and it’s so much better. I still can’t see anything I type on Internet Explorer, where I had to type my comment into MS Word, and then cut and paste it back into the comment box. So much better now.

  22. I don’t use Google Chrome because, believe it or not, it doesn’t support the Google Toolbar. I use Firefox and have never had a problem seeing what I type — it’s white type on a black background.

  23. No kidding. I always hesitate before opening anything from Al. ‘Cause I know it’s gonna cost me! :)

  24. so, Dad scolded the children, and now they are scrambling to get their chores done! Hmmmmm….

  25. Yes, they are going to have to shape up or ship out – the PL that is. Get in line, the people are not going to be fooled by these Carnival Barkers any longer.

  26. Lib Lib, You don’t need the Google toolbar with Chrome. There is a darling wrench on the far right that let’s you do all kinds of things, more than you could before with the toolbar. I deleted the toolbar after I loaded Chrome. I think Chrome uses Firefox for its operating system.

  27. I can’t get to any of the 450K pages thru OFA, only thru links from others. So it MAY be that the 450K is an old page stuck in browser land? But who cares… we’re gonna blow them BOTH away!! :)

  28. Oh really? Hmmm…. I’ll have to give it another try. Mostly I like the toolbar because it has all my Google bookmarks at hand.

  29. Okay, I’ve already donated so that takes care of the “donor” count. But if I make more donations before tomorrow it will still be added to the “donations” count?

    Thanks, LL.

  30. They’ve crossed 575 000 donations and 432 000 donors. Wow, what’s going on today?

  31. So the President set the tone, now lets echo it.

I am copying and pasting from various posts today

    1. From an article at ballonjuice about feedback to our elected officials
“Do you care about an issue? Don’t complain about it on a blog to people who already agree with you.

Pick up the phone* and tell it to someone you voted for (or against)*

    2. To multiply your impact ten hundred fold, send a hand-written letter. Even Senators from big states either read or at least hear about every non-typed letter that they receive.

Staffers like and don’t like different kinds of feedback. In my experience their favorite kind of feedback is specific, succinct, polite and not particularly loud. Say where you live/vote, name the issue, state your position and tell the volunteer what you want Representative X to do about it. Then wish the person a good day.

Tell Republicans to stay in session, compromise on tax increase for the wealthy, oil companies, and big business.

    3. We tweet, yesterday many folks signed up for twitter for the first time. Take a phrase from the president’s speech and tweet it. Or make up a sentence that speaks for you.

    4. Provide links on your facebook page – my favorite today was the article “House Republicans Have Tried To Eliminate Up To 6.7 Million Jobs In 2011″ , or link to one of the articles listed here that evaluate Obama’s press conference.

    5. Send your elected rep an email and ask them to show up to work, make the required compromise to avoid defaulting on the debt.

    6. I will be slicing up this press conference into 3-4 minute pieces so we can put them up on the web tomorrow.

    Remember what Faith said earlier today;
“It’s my new benchmark: at least once a day I will crawl out of our comfortable bubble and do some work. It feels great. ”

We put pressure on Rachel for her comments about PBO, lets use that same technique to pressure the Repubs to Do Their Homework…….

  32. There was a small thing called an Obama press conference in which he stuck it to the media, the Republicans, and the PL!!!!!!!

  33. Bookmark Manager is on the cute little wrench, and zoom and all kinds of things

  34. Just donated $25 today. See you at the dinner table with Barack and Joe. I love my President!

  35. Well, Bookmarks manager is a bit useless, but I did find an extension that opens up my Google bookmarks. That was really the only thing keeping me from using Chrome, so now Chrome it is.

  36. I see they’ve reset the goal again on OFA They had reset it to 575K, and now the goal is at 600K donors. Excellent!

  37. George S, in for Diane Sawyer started ABC Evening news with great economic news and he was smiling when he read the copy!!! There will be a new MARS candy manufacturing plant in Kansas. He began saying that in the last 12 months, 176,000 or 179,000 manufacturing jobs have been created and manufacturing has been moving faster than other hiring.

  38. I just watched Bob Schieffer’s take on the Obama presser on CBS. Bob was so excited that the prez kicked ass he could barely contain himself. You have to watch it when CBS posts the tape. They always post Bob.

  39. Yes, yes, and yes again! Remember, most people get their news from network and local tv, as well as papers. So far from what I can tell, they’ve all been glowing about Obama’s performance. And PBO knew when to come out swinging for maximum effect.

  40. How Sweet!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to get my wallet too right pronto yes Mr President we will have your back. Great Prss Conference Mr President.

  41. FoxNews is so predictable. They badly wanted a bad poll number for Obama and even titled their article “Obama lowest poll this year.” And what was it? 46%. One point off the CBS/NYT poll of 47%.
Yeah thats a terrible number. LOL.
He even got 67% favorability in the poll. Poor Fox.
They just can’t bring him down after 4 years of tryin.

  42. Exactly we need to help with the messaging. “Corporate Jet Owner” should be being spread far and wide. This comes from the fact that there is a tax loophole for corporate jets that the GOP will not close because it would be “raising taxes”.

  43. 20M people on average watch the network nightly news. I believe O’Reilly tops out Fox ratings with a little less than 3M, with the MSNBC show coming in around 1M.

  44. Woot!! My 5 p.m. local news give a straight account of how PBO came out telling Congress to do its job. Anchor used direct quotes from PBO and that was it.

  45. This is why the MSM folks are all pushing the hell out of Huntsman – “He’s a nice, likable quirky guy – look he drives motocross and dropped out of highschool to be in a band”.

  46. If so, it’s failing miserably. And it doesn’t help that Huntsman is as interesting as wet toast. He may be likable, but Obama is likable AND interesting.

  47. Pass THIS around to the folks and see if they pay attention:)http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2011/06/29/257003/debt-ceiling-social-security-cuts/

  48. Reading the posts and comments today, 18 months out, I can’t wait to see what is happening here come next summer. There is more than just a dedication to this President, there is a palpable excitement which will only accelerate.

  49. Huntsman is the completely uncharismatic person who thinks you can fake charisma by doing interesting things. Driving motocross, playing in a band, speaking Mandarin etc does not make you charismatic – it makes him look like he is trying too hard.

Huckabee had a charisma about him, Palin does as well. Christie does as well, though he’s vile. Rubio is overrated. Bush had it in 2000.

Romney only looks half passable because of the charismatic blackholes he’s competing with. Bachmann is giving him a run now in polls, because she has certain charisma to her.

  50. Bravo to you for all you do. Thanks for all the suggestions.

You’re one of the worker bees I really value.

  51. I must add that none of them come close to President Obama because not only does the President have charisma, he also has intelligence, wisdom, a wealth of knowledge, and a work ethic that is virtually unmatched in post-millenium politics.

All of the above GOP candidates fall seriously short in at least one of those areas I mentioned.

  52. But, but, but the media told me that Obama supporters are not as enthusiastic as they were back in 2008…

  53. We have to go after repbulican senator tomorrow on twitter. so think of who you want to target we have to hold them accountable.

  54. “And PBO knew when to come out swinging for maximum effect.”

That reminds me of ’08 when all the pundits were screaming for Candidate Obama to push back on the gooper lies and he just waited for the right time to take it to them. You know that wasn’t even 3 years ago! Is there something in the water that’s giving people such amnesia?

  55. Anyone from Illinois could help with senator , mark kire, representative schilling and representative walsh.we have to keep the fire up that President Obama put on ignited

  56. Plus Obama has lost his base. This according to the Nutrootty liberals who still gave him high approval numbers at said event.

  57. GEITHNER: GOP DEBT PLAN ‘IRRESPONSIBLE, RISKY, RADICAL, UNWISE’

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has made yet another attempt to convince conservative lawmakers they have no choice but to raise the debt limit.

In a lengthy letter sent to 17 Republican senators Wednesday, Geithner offered a broad takedown of the argument that the debt limit need not be raised to avoid a default. He called such an idea “radical and deeply irresponsible,” “unwise,” “untested and unacceptably risky” and “futile.”

The secretary told the lawmakers that such an idea would be a stark departure from the commitments of both parties through American history, and runs the risk of throwing the economy back into a recession while having a “painful” effect on Americans of every stripe.

“I hope we can all agree that we should not and must not gamble with the full faith and credit of the United States,” he wrote. “The consequences of a miscalculation are too grave.”

    http://thehill.com/blogs/on-the-money/801-economy/168995-geithner-dismisses-gop-payment-prioritization-plan

  58. That is good news. *prays for this to be true*

Wow the pics are beautiful. The presser was outstanding. From “good morning have a seat”,he was on fire……WHAT A MAN! I am glad to see no scar left on his beautiful lips from those stitches he got last year. mwah :D

  59. Walsh is a lost cause. He is one of those true fanatics, and Schilling isn’t much different. Kirk, however, will vote to raise in the Senate, simply because he is too much a corporate pet.

  60. Sometimes I wish Chuck Todd was like one of those little colored pegs in that child’s toy with the hammer so I could pound his sorry head into oblivion. He should hide his sorry a** in shame for the question he asked PBO at the presser.

Sorry, for my bit of spew. MY Prez rocks! I gave my donation and will keep doing more. ♥ to all here at TOAITR!

  61. Just put in $25 :D

    FIRED UP…!!

    READY TO GO..!!! :D

  62. Japa21, there’s also love. Despite all the badmouthing from the stupid, the envious, and the desperate, this is one of the most truly beloved president this country has known in a long, long time. No politician operating today can come close to the love PBO inspires in people. He’s one for the ages.

  63. Thanks..I thought I’d share it with all of you…by the way, glad you liked the link to the R’s eliminating 6.7 million jobs…I have spread that one far and wide…if you guys Tweet…that would be a good thing to pass along! Love what you do, WIW!

  64. The whole of next year will be about the US Presidential elections. The world will be even more attuned than they were in 2008. I’m beginning to feel the excitement. And even with the Olympics in London, once that’s over by September things will be at a feverish pitch here…Yes we can!!

  65. Chuck Todd is a Carnival Barker at best always traying to get a sound fucking bite, so they can only talk 24/7 he is garbage at best.

  66. They just made a new goal of 475,000!

This reminds me of the primary/election donation goals in 2008.

  67. What kind of money are we talking – between 50M-100M? Given he’s getting most of his max donors in now this will be his biggest quarter by far whereas the eventual Republican nominee will have another big Q once they win the nomination – of course Obama Campaign can fundraise off that as well, but the max donors will already be all in compared to max donors for other Republican primary candidates who will then rally around the GOP candidate.

  68. I thought it was interesting that PBO didn’t answer his question about whether the debt ceiling is constitutional. I think he has a 14th amendment ace up his sleeve. We will see…these people should never underestimate PBO-his leadership style or his strength and courage.

  69. Good question. I haven’t seen any Obama vs Bachman polls. I know in her home state of Minnesota a PPP poll back in May said that PBO beats her by 15% points. Can’t remember the exact numbers though.

That said…..WE’VE ONLY JUST BEGUN!!! We have surpassed OFA’s landmark donation goals and they have risen them. We just might pass the new goals of 500,000 and 600,000 respectively. Before PBO’s presser the donations were moving at a snails pace. Now that can’t stop the runaway locomotive. LOL!! Talk about a President

  70. There are 456,908 — I wouldn’t be surprised if they hit 500,000 donors. Quite a testament that there are more than a handful of us true believers!!!

  71. I hope it’s an mpressive amount because we need to send a message and he’s going to need the money.

  72. I have to finish my post in this one :) Talk about a President that inspires and motivates. You GO PBO!! Obama/Biden 2012!!

  73. My sense too — I thought it very interesting that he totally did not answer that question — Chuck Todd was too fixated on his gay marriage and the Libya-War Powers Resolution question to follow up on that glaring failure to answer the second part of his three-part question.

  74. This is an excellent letter from Sec. Geithner – recommend everyone read it, because it’s got loads of very clear information and explanation of this debt ceiling nonsense. Really great letter – thanks!

  75. I think he is holding a card on this, because he mentioned that Congress must pay for the bills that they pass – which puts it directly into the language of the 14th amendment.

  76. What?!?

The biggest Qs BY FAR will be much, much later in the campaign. President Barack Hussein Obama shattered every record of small donations in 2008, when just building a campaign and name recognition, and now, he’s WAY beyond his previous numbers in the 1st Q of this campaign.

Large donations now and at any time are great of course, but that’s the beauty of Stanley Ann’s son and his ground-up, grassroots approach…”We, the people” are going to crush any fundraising #s of the past. I’m literally in shock at how good our campaign’s #s are at this point. Onward and upward, brothers and sisters!

  77. So it’s an Explorer problem! I have the problem on another computer that uses Explorer but no problem at home with Firefox. Thanks for the info.

  78. Really? He looks like my dorky algebra teacher from 9th grade, with less personality and a worse tie.

  79. My husband turned on Rachel tonight but she had a good segment: Cantor’s whining about the corporate jet loophole because it’s so ‘tiny’, only 2, 3 billion, why even bother closing it?

Rachel then ticked off the things Republicans want to cut because we absolutely, positively can’t afford not to cut them, sky-is-falling: WIC, job training, Smithsonian, national parks, etc. Most under a billion.

So we MUST these programs because we’re in such dire straights. But close a loophole for corporate jets? Such little money, why bother?

Cantor actually went there. He actually defended the corporate jet loophole.

    What a great day.

  80. If my little doggie does well in his check-up tomorrow and doesn’t need any more surgery, I am running home to donate. I think he’s doing great, but I have to make sure before I give money. It’s driving me nuts……..

  81. Little Kasper will pass his check up with flying colors….you guys are great parents and he had caring wonderful Dr’s to take good care:) I donated today…food or donate to the campaign? Donate…..with dreams of dinner with the President, dancing in my head.

  82. That was a joke, right? The President up by 22pts…the lowest was up by 11…the more people see her/ and hear her…the higher those numbers will go. What is it with these women and their annoying voices? I’m thinking of Bachmann/Palin….they both make my teeth hurt.

  83. My husband made an astute observation today: when Obama gives a speech, it’s easy to remember why we love him so much. But when he governs and communicates his governance with passion, humor, intelligence, clarity and focused outrage, we not only love him, we are glad and deeply relieved he is our President.

My observation: Now I know this was an exceptional day. But do we dare deem it possible that more Americans are more aware because of Republican malfeasance since the 2010 elections? That a bigger portion of the electorate know they must pay attention and not be hoodwinked like they were in 2010? I’m thinking that might just be true, not only of seniors but people coming close to senior age: An ‘ad’ for Paul Ryan’s disastrous budget actually had Ryan saying, “we protect seniors. And only those of you who will be seniors in the next 10 years (yes, embellishment is mine but that was the message).

If you’re 55 and older, don’t worry (no matter what Lieberman tries to sell you). If you’re 54 1/2, watch out! THAT’s their message?

Eric Cantor actually defended the corporate loophole today. It was so ‘tiny’. But cutting WIC — that’s absolutely necessary. THAT’s their message?

Is there a considerable new portion of the electorate that now knows they should pay more attention?

There is a good 35-40% of Americans who are going to vote Republican. Most of them are hopeless and/or believing the last simple thought they heard before they go to the polls. But is there a good number of the unengaged ‘independent’ who at least will pay closer attention? That’s all we need — we need a good 10% of them to pay just a little more attention.

Obama knocked it out of the park today. There was a sense from network news, local news — a relaxing because they knew they were in good hands. This kind of messaging is critical from Obama. Nancy Pelosi followed up, Steve Israel was EXCELLENT on Dylan Ratigan today. We need the follow-through from Democrats to catch the attention on a day like today and capitalize on it.

The subliminal message: pay a little more attention or you end up with Walker/Snyder/Kasich/Scott/Brownback. You’ll lose Medicare if you don’t pay attention. No bridges will be built if you don’t pay attention. No jobs will be created if you don’t pay attention. Just a little bit more attention……

  84. I think the numbers will continue to go up. The key for us now is to support him through donations, twitter, talking to everyone, volunteering and pushing jobs message. 5 things congress could do right now if they weren’t do fixated on climbing into women’s uteruses: infrastructure, trades, patents, pay cut extension. Have to donate one more time (twice today)

  85. Depends how big the average donation is. If it’s around 20-25 dollars, then about 12 million from small donors. I don’t know how much he’s raised besides at events. I ho

  86. Excellent message, Faith. I agree that it seemed like the media had a different tone today, like they had relaxed – I felt it from their reporting, too. They even laughed quite openly, and at one point, I even thought they might applaud.

    Just 10% – that’s true.

  87. Huh? You’re either a provocateur or you really need a chill pill. Despite all the MegaMedia fluffing, remember that $ayrah Paylin actually brought down the numbers of the Repub ticket in 2008. This is basically undisputed fact now.

Bachmann, Turn-her, Overdone is quite literally….a joke of a Presidential candidate.

President Barack Hussein Obama is so fantastically beyond where he was in 2007-2008 in every aspect, that the only remote danger is complacency. But as can been seen by these latest fundraising #s and OFA’s work, I’m none too worried about that.

    Now let’s git ‘er dun!

  88. I think everything you said is correct. I also think that people don’t really engage until they see something happen that actually effects them. They voted these yahoos into office thinking, “Well, they’re republicans…so it’ll be ok.” But as usual, they got arrogant and overplayed their hands and began to do things that they never campaigned on, or just DID them…and the people are NOT happy…as we see! Lots of the public takes things for granted. BIG MISTAKE! Example: abortion rights. There are millions of young voters that weren’t even BORN when Roe V Wade was won in the 70’s….these young women have only KNOWN that this is legal and they have these rights under the law. They may not be able to overturn Roe, but these lunatic Gov’s can make things very difficult….we must never sit on our laurels, and there is no rest from those that would like to take rights away. From women. From workers. From Immigrants. From Unions. I also think that the fights that are being waged on behalf of workers in FL,OH,WI, NJ…are resonating with the rest of the country…they are beginning to put two and two together (finally!)and can envision what could happen….and they are finally taking the blinders off. You could not have watched that presser today and come away with anything other than the President is the sane one…unless you were certifiable! At the same time the President ended his speech today…Senator McTurtle was out there saying the President was nuts to think that raising taxes on those poor poor zillionaires was going to happen on his watch! Are these F’ing people NUTS?! 70+% of Americans think that we need to get rid of al those tax breaks for said zillionaires and make them and corporations pay their fair share……so my question to him would be…” Who the hell are you talking to?!” If they think this is going to work in their favor….I think they are sadly mistaken, but hey, I’m just a peon to them….what NEEDS to happen is that the poor and Middle class people that normally vote Republican need to wake the heck out of their stupor and realize that they are being lied to, and abused…and will get kicked to the curb faster than a dead rat….anyway…I think you’re right….but we can’t let up on the message. Not now. Not ever.

  89. Yes they are fixated on our uteri, aren’t they? I don’t know…last time I checked, I couldn’t get pregnant BY MYSELF…so I want to know what THEIR (men’s) responsibility in this is….women are 50% of the equation and bear 100% of the ramifications.Do they really think this will stop women from terminating their pregnancy? Surely they have forgotten the past….how soon they forget. Sorry…this infuriates me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could debate this until my dying day. Sorry.
You now have 2 chances for dinner with the President!!!!!!! Congrats:) Wouldn’t it be great if someone here won?

  90. Are you both on west coast time, like me??? Everyone else is sleeping:)

  91. There two different counters – 450,000 is the no.of unique donors. 600,000 is the total no. of donations received. So, if you donate twice or more, you add only to the second counter. Your first donation went to the first and second counters.

  92. me too — he’ll give the Rs a chance to cut a fair deal and if they don’t, then I think he invokes that provision of the constitution.

  93. Has anybody noticed the OFA site crashing and the inability to be able to log on? They are missing out on crucial donations.

  94. I tried to pull up the counter page this morning and it won’t fully load, so the site is still super busy. Don’t know about the contribution page itself.
You are up very late…or very early :-)

  95. Up very late. I work evenings and can stay up till 6am sometimes obsessed with our great President. I get home around midnight from work. Can’t get enough of PBO. :)

  96. It’s working now but the counter hasn’t really moved since the site crashed.

  97. Apparently, Mark Halperin (TIme Magazine) called the President a “dick” on Morning Joke. There was NO pushback – they all sat there and let him disprespect our President. Right now Twitter is exploding with this news and people are not having it. Halperin should be at least suspended.

  98. Oh sorry Donna, I didn’t see your post! But I guess we had the same idea. Thanks! :)

  99. We must trust him. Barack Obama is a superb leader. Perhaps his way, calm and quiet, patient , cool , but delivering the punch when really needed, is such a difference from the last President, that it is hard for some to adjust, but he is just what we need during this time of uncertainty , when the US image could be tarnished by any misbehavior or semblance of immaturity and casual disregard for the seriousness of what is at stake. I am in for 2012.. love this President.

  100. Keep the pressure on. I know people on here are going to be outraged but I hope we channel it to our advantage. It might:
    1. Mobilize support for the President: decent people will hopefully see it as unacceptable.
    2. Help open people’s eyes to the media and hopefully get them to pay attention.

    Hey, I can dream, right?

  101. Prez Obama is the one politician who just gets better the longer he stays in office. People–sane people–also tend to love him even more, the more they know him!

Good job people!!! it is heart warming to read the contributions and to watch that meter grow!!!

  102. I’ve given money to many candidates, but he’s the first one I’ve given money to twice!
I just gave for the contest to have dinner with him and Joe Biden… I’d be tongue tied if I won, of course, but it sure would be nice!
